Hippie Urban Survival Tips

Hippie styles can be a lot of fun and very freeing to those who spend most of their day behind a computer desk. In my early twenties I spent a good deal of time dressed in these styles and enjoyed it very much.

Most of the time those looking for hippy styles are only looking for halloween costumes, but there are many items of clothing that hearken back to the 60′s clothes and are still modern.

For example the crochet beanie hats are wonderful and add a nice touch to any outfit for either men or women looking for that avant garde look. Musicians and hollywood types seem to wear these a lot and anything they wear is certainly in style.

The hippie look is painted in pretty broad strokes. It includes flowers of course on everything, and dare I say it, everyone! It includes wild colors as well as more sedate earth tones.

It implies comfort and expression over just about anything else.

Hair styles and beard styles also play a large role in that hippy look!
